ElectroFile Income Tax Service

ElectroFile Income Tax Service will be operating under the "Stay-At_Home" orders issued by the State of North Carolina, the City of Greensboro, and Guilford County throughout the state resrictions. Our operating hours are above.

We are considered an essential service. That means that you are allowed under the "Stay-At-Home" order to come to our office seeking our tax preparation services. We will be complying with the order's 6-foot social distancing to the best of our ability and ask your indulgence in doing the same. To make that easier for our clients and staff, we request that you call and set an appointment time if you plan to visit our office.

We are happy to meet with you (by appointment) to discuss and prepare your return at that time if you desire. However, you may prefer to utilize our services by:

With either choice be sure to give us your home phone number, cellphone number and carrier, and your email address if possible. If we have your "smart" phone number and/or email address, we can request your signature remotely and complete your filing without you having to come to our office.

The State of North Carolina asks that you provide your Driver's License Number, Issue Date, and Expiration Date to cut down on fraudulent returns. You may scan your license (and spouses) and include with your tax documents.

NOTICE:The IRS and the State of North Carolina Department of Revenue have extended the tax filing deadline until July 15, 2020. As long as you file and pay any amount due by July 15th, you will not be charged any penalty or interest beyond the original April 15th filing date. However, the State of North Carolina by law is required to charge interest on any payments made after April 15th til the actual date of payment. If you owe NC tax, for that reason, we suggest you make every effort to file and pay by April 15th. UPDATE: The legislature has voted to remove the interest charge and the Govenor was expected to sign that legislation on May 4th.

We know that you may be tempted to just forget about filing until July. In our opinion, that is a bad choice.

So, get with us and let us complete the filing of your return.

We care greatly for you and your dependents. We want you to be safe and healthy during this stressful period. Let us know just how we can assist you.
